FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu. Our representative will be at the airport to receive and escort the group to a Private Vehicle which will take them to the hotel.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: It was founded between 1069 – 1083 AD. SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA: Swayambhu is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. Swayambhu, meaning 'self-sprung'.It is believed to be over 2000 years old and it was the point where Manjushree discovered the lotus flower in the valley when it was a lake. The main attractions are the great Stupa with all seeing eyes of Buddha in four directions, 365 steps, Pratapur and Anantapur Temples, Manjushree Temple along with numerous small chhortens.
PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE: The Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu. It is one of the sacred Hindu temple complexes located on the banks of the Bagmati River. It is not known when the Pashupatinath Temple was built. But according to Nepal Mahatmaya and Himvatkhanda, the deity here gained great fame there as Pashupati, the Lord of all Pashus (Animal), who are living and non-living beings. The existence of the Pashupatinath Temple dates back to 400 BC. C., the richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or the sacred symbol of Lord Shiva. There are many legends describing how the Pashupatinath temple arose here.
BOUDHANATH STUPA: It was built by King Lichchhavi Mana Dev in the 5th century AD. C.Boudhanath is also called Khasti Chaitya in Kathmandu. The huge mandala of the stupa makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal with lots of positive energy. From its whitewashed dome to its gilded tower painted with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, the monument is perfectly proportioned. Pilgrims do koras (circumambulations) in the morning and in the afternoon in search of luck, peace and prosperity for all beings that live in this world.
PATAN DURBAR SQUARE:
The Patan city is believed to have been founded by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century B.C. The most of the monuments were built between 12th to 18th centuries by Malla Kings. It is known as the centre of fine arts and superb craftsmanship of its artisans. The main attractions are old Royal Palace, Krishna Temple, Taleju Temple, Bhimsen Temple, Golden Temple (Hiranyavarna Mahabihar) etc.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18 KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT (28 Kms. / 01 Hour)
At 05:30 Hrs. - Our representative will pick you up and transfer to the airport. The Mountain Flight duration is approximately 50 minutes. It leaves early in the morning between 06.30 to 07.30 Hrs. and completes the flight by 08:00 to 08:30 Hrs. depending upon weather condition. During the flight, our representative will wait at the airport. After the flight , you will be transferred to hotel to have breakfast. The Everest (Mountain) flight offers the closest possible aerial views of Mt. Everest and the Tibetan Plateau. Each passenger is provided with an individual window seat during the entire flight. The main attractions are Royal Palace (fifty-five windowed), Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Dattatraya Temple, Bhairabnath Temple, Peacock Window etc.

NAGARKOT :
Nagarkot: The tiny settlement of Nagarkot clings to a hilltop east of Kathmandu (2,099 meters), far from city noise and traffic. It is 32 km. from the city and is famous for its view of the Himalayan range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west and from Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east. It is the best close range Himalayan vantage point from anywhere on the Kathmandu valley. Evening, sunset viewing (weather permitting).

PEACE PAGODA: It is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski, Nepal. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji.

Early morning, excursion to Sarangkot (to view the Himalayas close-up).
SARANGKOT: It is a popular tourist destination for those who arrive in Pokhara. A hill on the western side of Pokhara with an altitude of 1600m. Sarangkot is known for panoramic Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. It also provides an expansive view of the city of Pokhara, from the extreme north to the south including the Phewa Lake. Tourists drive up the hill to watch the sunrise from the view tower at the top.
Return to hotel for breakfast.
